News Flash Travellers Camp Gone But......

As of 4pm on the 3rd September the Travellers have now vacated our Poplars pitch, however the trail of destruction that has left behind is simply astonishing.

For example the ground has been used as a toilet and the pitch will not be playable this season by the look of it.  Our changing room is completely trashed and has obviously been used as a camp indoor toilet, it will have to be demolished.  We dare not even mention the general rubbish which has been left around the entire site.

Please click here to view our photographs of the damage caused.  Obviously Toddington Rovers apologise to the children whose football season hangs in the balance due to this problem and please rest assured that the committee are working as hard as we can to find an alternative ground and facilities for the coming season which starts on Sunday.  Please Click Here to read the TRFC Chairmans Statement.

Toddington Rovers Football Club - Childrens Football Academy and Teams

Welcome to Toddington Rovers FC

Toddington Rovers Football Club has been in existance for in excess of 100 years. This year however weToddington Rovers FC have decided to revert to our original name after 30 years of simply running youth football teams.

The club has experienced huge growth over the last 5 years. During the 2007/2008 season we provided football for over 200 members.  In the coming season we will revert to accomodating an adult team to our huge selection of youth teams.

Toddington Rovers is first and foremost a community resource.  The majority of our members are from Toddington and the immediate surrounding areas. It is our aim to provide an excellent standard of coaching and matches for local children.

With this web site we aim to keep all of our club members, their parents and other family members up to date with what is happening with your local football club. You will find up to date club news, social events, match reports and links to results and upcoming fixtures for all of our teams.

This coming year our teams will be competeing in a varity of leagues. These include:

  • The Milton Keynes & District Saturday League (5 A Side)
  • The Filmergraphics Sunday Mini Soccer League (7 A Side) - Ages Under 8 through to Under 10
  • The Chiltern Youth League (11 A Side) - Ages Under 11 right through to Under 15
  • North Home Counties Football League - Adult Side

We at Toddington Rovers are especially proud of our football academy section which is now running into it's second year.  We welcome boys and girls between 5 and 7 years of age on Saturday mornings at the Glebe.  The times are between 9.15am and 10.30am.

Why not bring along your son and/or daughter for some trial sessions and see for yourself how it works.  We would all be very pleased to welcome you to our club.

Many of our teams are looking for players at the present moment.  So if you have a child who may be interested in joining us please do contact the relevant manager of their age group.  We also have a Players Wanted section to this site which details our urgent requirements!

Toddington Rovers are always looking for Sponsors for our club.  You may be able to sponsor a specific team, event or even have an advert on this busy web site. Please contact Geoff Ratcliffe for details.
