The lads played very well against top of the table Bedford Park Rangers, holding them to 0-0 at half time and eventually losing 0-3. There were chances to be had though by the Rovers, with Luke R narrowly missing a Rooney-esque overhead kick, which would have been goal of the season if it had gone in. Man of the match: Mitchell.

A brief cup run from the Rovers then, with a trip to Luton to meet Crawley ending in defeat. The lads battled hard and it was 2-1 at half time after Callum's sweet strike had pulled the boys back into the game. The lads kept on going, being a bit unlucky not to get a penalty in the first half and also seeing a great second half penalty from Tom kept out by an equally great save from Crawley's goalie.

Plenty of action and chances created stopped the parents from legging it over the fence to get to the airport Costa Coffee, and a very determined performance as striker saw Daniel named man of the match.

The lads had warmed up for the season with a few friendlies at the Poplars Arena. The first competitive game of the 2011 - 2012 season saw the manager absent, so it was left to our very own Pat Rice-alike, Graham, to manage the team on the opening day.  

The lads were 1-0 down at half time and despite creating a good few chances Caddington came out on top. The lads were perhaps unlucky not to have a tighter scoreline. According to Pat Rice's post match interview, the Caddington goalie had a worldie performance.
