Congratulations to Tony Mongey and Steve Draper and the simply superb Under 13a's.

They managed to win the League Cup with a wonderful performance earning a 3-0 victory over Leighton Town.

The Academy

Welcome to the Academy page.  The Academy is where your child will experience their introduction to football.

The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment, but of course our fully trained FA Coaches are on hand to make sure that they are learning all of the time.  All of our coaches are First Aid Trained and have also attented FA Child Protection Courses.   We also have a female coach for this age group.

Please feel free to bring your child along for a trial session to see how they get on.

The Academy is held at the Glebe from 9.30 on a Saturday morning, please arrive at 9.20.  However the Glebe is very exposed and can be very windy and cold.  Please make sure that your child is well prepared for the weather conditions.

Before the session commences our coaches will check that all children are wearing suitable footwear and shin pads.  If they are not wearing them, they will not be able to play!

For the parents we have a Burger Van serving Bacon Rolls and Tea and Coffee.  It is a real social occassion for the parents.
