Your Club Needs You

You may be aware I have recently announced my intention to step down from the role of club secretary at the end of this season 2015/16.

Whilst not taking up that much time during the actual playing season, the role of club secretary is vitally important to the running of the club.   The club needs a volunteer to step forward to take on this role.   I will be more than happy to oversee the league applications and general running of the club until the new secretary is totally comfortable.

The role doesn't have to be a parent or current coach.  It could be a players grand parent or even villager.   If you think you would like to help your Football Club then get in touch.

Welcome to Toddington Rovers FC

Toddington Rovers Football Club was founded in 1894.  We are an FA Charter Standard Club who offer a high standard of football to 16 youth teams of mixed gender and also a first team and a Ladies team.

The club has experienced huge growth over the last 5 years. During the 2014/2015 season we provided football for over 200 members.

Toddington Rovers is first and foremost a community resource.  The majority of our members are from Toddington and the immediate surrounding areas. It is our aim to provide an excellent standard of coaching and matches for local children.

With this web site we aim to keep all of our club members, their parents and other family members up to date with what is happening with your local football club. You will find up to date club news, social events, match reports and links to results and upcoming fixtures for all of our teams.

This coming year our teams will be competing in a variety of leagues. These include:

  • The Milton Keynes Development League (5 A Side) - Ages 7 through to 12
  • The Chiltern Youth League (9v9 and 11v11) - Ages Under 11 right through to Under 15
  • Beds Youth Saturday League
  • Beds and Herts Womens Football League
  • Bedfordshire and District Sunday Football League

We at Toddington Rovers are especially proud of our football academy section which is now running into it's twelth year.  We welcome boys and girls between 5 and 7 years of age on Saturday mornings at the St Georges Lower School.  The times are between 9.15am and 10.30am.

Why not bring along your son and/or daughter for some trial sessions and see for yourself how it works.  We would all be very pleased to welcome you to our club.

Many of our teams are looking for players at the present moment.  So if you have a child who may be interested in joining us please do contact the relevant manager of their age group.  We also have a Players Wanted section to this site which details our urgent requirements!

Toddington Rovers are always looking for Sponsors for our club.  You may be able to sponsor a specific team, event or even have an advert on this busy web site. Please contact Jason Goodall for details.
