As of 4pm on the 3rd September the Travellers have now vacated our Poplars pitch, however the trail of destruction that has left behind is simply astonishing.
For example the ground has been used as a toilet and the pitch will not be playable this season by the look of it. Our changing room is completely trashed and has obviously been used as a camp indoor toilet, it will have to be demolished. We dare not even mention the general rubbish which has been left around the entire site.
Please click here to view our photographs of the damage caused. Obviously Toddington Rovers apologise to the children whose football season hangs in the balance due to this problem and please rest assured that the committee are working as hard as we can to find an alternative ground and facilities for the coming season which starts on Sunday.
